Here's Dan's comment about their lunch..
My wife and I would love to join your group for a drive sometime. We live in Wichita but would be happy to cruise down to Tulsa for a get-together. We can't make it this Saturday or the Satuday of the 25th but we are open to other dates. The Wichita area people are gathering in Beaumont, Ks on July 25th at 11am for a lunch. Beaumont is a little ghost town with 1 business...a diner and bed and breakfast. Mostly it is famous as a airplane fly-in restaurant with good food. Beaumont is straight east of Wichita about 25 miles. If you'd like to join us let us know. We are trying to form some type of breakfast/lunch club for our area. My wife and I like our car so much that we'll drive it most anywhere for a smart car gathering and if you are of the same mindset then we extend an invitation for you to come for lunch.'s hot. Stay Cool. Dan

Love the name of your car! Wow, what a trip! Were your arms tired from driving highway speeds and trying to keep Baby B in the lane? That wind is something on the highway! Let's plan to go to Bristow soon. Dan, from Kansas and his wife are planing to meet the Wichita Smarties at lunch in Beaumont Kansas, 25 miles east of Wichita for lunch on the 25 and they want to come with us to Bristow. We might do the Baumont trip. have to get with Hubby/Co-pilot and compare schedules.

Regarding the gathering, if the dealer's going to have one in three weeks, you should post about it on the Tulsa Smart People group and also under the events section of this site! I'll do it for you, if you like... just give me the details!

My parents had an Isetta too. Small cars run in my family. This is my fourth 3 cylinder car.

Yes, we got our smarts as orphans. As luck would have it, although we didn't particularly want convertibles, we did get two cars that are exactly alike with the colors we wanted. Makes things easy for bookkeeping! The only addition to the cars was they both had the comfort package, which was a must for us. Here's a picture of the cars:

They get a LOT of looks and both cars have brought us business. Which, when combined with the great gas mileage, has worked financially to our advantage. Plus we love them!
