It is a great b-day - bad day at work - but good b-day!! :) I appreciate the well wishes. My inspectors bought me lunch and a cake and a nice gift of tea. Awesome!!! :)
I had a great time at the Crim. It was my first one and will be back again.
Quite a few of the runners asked me if that was my "red" smart car in the parking lot. I said, "Yes... What tipped you off it was mine?" and then chuckled.
I even made the Flint Journal about the Crim.
If you want, we can meet at the D-19/I-96 exit, there is a park/ride there on the SW corner, around 4:30 or so. :)
We should soon receive our plates. Look for the Silver Cabrio with the plates "WIICAR". My wife got bit by the bug when she saw a TV add for the Wii game console. Two Oriental guys stepped out of one during the commercial. Soon there after I saw a blue/silver 450 from Ontario passing through Ann Arbor on I-94. Camera photos shown to my wife sealed the deal. We reserved on 28 Aug 08 at the height of fuel prices. Diesel was running very close to $5 per gallon. Fill ups were costing me $125 or more. So, I wanted to wean myself away from the big oil companies, even if it meant taking a car payment. The wait time was excruciating. However, my time in the pipeline was only a mere 8 months. To speed up the process I opted to take delivery of a somewhat more expensive model. I personally feel that it paid off. The ride is one that is very stiff, very sporty, tight and sort of go-kartlike. Fun, though, but I find that you need to pay constant attention as the car at high speed (70mph) can wander within your lane a bit. The steering is also likewise very stiff and has a short steering wheel lock-to-lock turn distance. But, I can look beyond these perceived short-coming by understanding what the overall purpose that was designed in. Thanks!!
Just wanted to drop you a quick line. I too live in Pinckney. If you see a silver Brabus running around, it will be my wife. We took delivery on April 15th. 1st tank mileage=331 miles, 8.23 gals., 40.2mpg. A huge improvement over our '97 Dodge P/U. Hope to see you around.

Thanks for the note.
I may have seen you parked on a lot off 1st street once? I have the blue with black trim, red interior, WIZDOM plate.
I've see about 7 different cars so far around Ann Arbor.
