SMART Car Nationals

The 2013 SMART Car Nationals are in the process of being organized. The dates are July 10 -14, 2013, in Westminster Colorado (suburb of Denver).
We are going to have the event at the Westin Hotel, where we are arranging rooms and conference facilities. There will be a huge party for SMARTies, and their cars, at Mercedes Benz of Westminster Colorado on November 9, 2011, at 6:30 PM. MB is hosting this party to show SMART owners an example of a great SMART dealership. There will be food served from Brother's Barbecue, discussions from SMART technicians and a representative of the Mercedes Benz club of America (SMART cars are the only cars without a MB badge allowed in the club!). I'm curious how the Mercedes Benz transition is occurring in other states than Colorado. Our SMART center is closing Saturday, with no word yet as to whom will be taking over sales and warranty service. Are people in other states having the same issues?

I saw your question about the wrench and 400 miles coming up on your display in the Colorado owner's group. I realize you already got an answer, but I just wanted to give you a little bit more information. The message is actually known as the maintenance service interval display and comes up about a month before the next service interval (based on last reset) and displays the days or distance to Kiwi's next required maintenance. There is also more information on this message and others available in the operator's manual.

- Hello Smarties. Just talked to Paul and he is interested in MB West. He has put in a call to them. Let's hope it all works out. Paul was really choked up that we are all behind him and support him so strongly. He is very grateful to the Smart community. By the way, the manager and service manager at MB said that they would love to come to our meetings and discuss service and accessories for the Smart brand. Also to keep us all in the loop of what is going on in Smartland. Hey everyone, come to the Smart meetings and you can see what's going on too! The 2nd Wed of every month at Brothers BBQ 6th and Washington. 7pm. We are going to get some drives going too so give us your imput!!!!
