The 2013 SMART Car Nationals are in the process of being organized. The dates are July 10 -14, 2013, in Westminster Colorado (suburb of Denver).
We are going to have the event at the Westin Hotel, where we are arranging rooms and conference facilities. Scot Bozarth said… Russell, I would like to attend the convention, but it would be a long drive for two 70 year olds from Virginia Beach. We could fly in. That would take 5 hours, compared with 4 days driving. But It would be great to drive my smart in the Rockies.

Yes, quite a few groups left. Thanks again for spending time on Saturday talking smart things.

Quinn said… Hi Russell,
I saw your question about the wrench and 400 miles coming up on your display in the Colorado owner's group. I realize you already got an answer, but I just wanted to give you a little bit more information. The message is actually known as the maintenance service interval display and comes up about a month before the next service interval (based on last reset) and displays the days or distance to Kiwi's next required maintenance. There is also more information on this message and others available in the operator's manual.
Hope this helps,
Happy motoring!
