Keep fog lights on with a 2016?

As the title states.  Is there any pattern of things to do to get the fog lights to automatically turn on as long as the low beams are on?  Kinda like how you can hold down the center locking button to enable or disable the automatic door locks once you hit a certain speed.  Never had to worry about it in my 2009, cause the fog lights never turned off if they were on, even with the high beams on.  But it's annoying to have to turn them on every time it gets dark, and then every time you turn…See More

Finally got it!!

Posted on April 27, 2009 at 10:30pm 1 Comment

After a year of waiting.... i finally got my Smart.... and a Brabus to boot. And no, not an orphan... the one i actually ordered. SOOOOO much fun to drive, and everyone at Smart Center Devon thought it was nice.... as well as the pinstriping, which you can see in my pictures in the photo's section. Didn't even get it home, stopped at a gas station, and already had someone saying "nice car".

Only sad thing is i have to take a trip back to the dealer tomorrow. Don't know how nobody… Continue

Hi Ryan, from the photos you posted it looks like you had the same problem that I had. I hit a raccoon on the left side of my Smart passion. It busted my core-support,fog light, left fender and under panel cover. I have over $835.00 damage to mine and it has less than 10,000 mi on it. Boy does that suck!!

Once you've driven an HID headlight equipped car, you won't ever want to go back. The color varies by the temperature you choose. They are significantly brighter than the halogen stock white bulbs. They do contain a tiny bit of mercury which is what gives it the intense power for less current than the halogens draw. I am anxious to upgrade mine now that I've found a $59.00 per pair source.

Thanks Ryan,... you're right. I know it's dangerous to use the Rearview mirror.. but I like to use all my mirrors to see the back. I want to be sure that I don't have any blind spots. Thats what I did when I had my other car. I used all 3 mirrors. I guess bcuz this car is small and NEW I just extra careful when I drive. I haven't had an accident yet and don't want to either. Thanks for your advice :):):)
