Just my 2 cents, dealers are the same character as politicians. They lie!!! I have an 08 with 40k, I change my own oil with Mobil 1 $ 8.00 @ qt. The filter is off the shelf at $ 4.00.
I have not had the brake fluid changed or any brake work at all…
Hi all, could someone give me the size socket needed to remove the oil plug and drain the oil?? Found a site in CA. oil filters $8.95. Cost me $68 bucks + tax last oil change.
anyways, my name is natty and I've been trying to find more participants from the New England area to take my Smart Car owner survey. This is for a marketing strategy plan that I have to do for one of my classes at Fordham University. It'll only take a few minutes and my group and I would really love to hear from you. :)

Hi Smart car folks
The first Mass Smart car rally will be October 4th. Start point is Christ Church United, aka The Yellow Meeting House, in Dracut Center, 10 Arlington Street, Dracut, Ma. Meeting time is 10:30 am we will meet and mingle for a while, then head out for coffee, travel along Rt. 133 checking out foliage. Rt 133 goes all the way to Rockport, there are shops, antique stores, etc. We will be stopping at "The Clam Box" in Ipswich for lunch, they are a CASH only establishment. This is a fun run and we have no set schedule, so stopping at your favorite spot is great. The rally will end in Rockport, Ma., at this point, spend time in town or just make tracks for home.
Being the 1st Rally, anything goes, the start time is 10:30, I think...lunch will be about 12:00-1:00 ish Remember CASH only eatery! 1:00-2:30 check out shops, and end the rally in Rockport.
Lets all get together and have a good time, chat, and enjoy the day.
If you have any question please give me a call @ 978-265-6647.

MPG varies and depends on many factors. My personal best has been 47. It's been easier for me to get 43 though. I'm hoping to do better once it's not summer and 100+ degrees. Using a/c has a negative impact on mpg. Welcome to the veterans group!
Hi gang, well as far as I got is to send my $99 bucks in and I did get a returned contract but thta is it. They still ahv'nt cashed my ck and from the sound of everyone's stories on this site i should'nt expect the car for another 15 months or so.Bummer cause I have over a 60 mile commute each day and am looking for some relief from the gas crisis!!
