Donna, the film sheild that he looked into is called Venture Shield and is the vinyl film. He said it actually took 9 pieces to do a smart and that it would cost him $600. He didn't feel I needed it at half the price of a new set of panels! I did get the ZTech paint protection which is more of a protection against, bugs, birds, tree sap and the millions of mosquitos that commit suicide against my baby. It has the Dupont PTFE stuff and as I said - I was happy with it with next attempt to handwash - no scrubbing needed whatsoever and the shine is much better than the day I drove it home from the dealer.
