About Me
Retired in 2000 and now work semi-retired (3 or 4 days per week) for a Financial Service Company as an Audit/Advisor. Travel mostly Southern Cal. however, I have 6 offices along the California Central coast. I'm looking forward to making that trip in a couple of months in my little Smartie and maybe will even take in some winery tours this time around.
Hobbies..... love sailing and flying, however, gave up the flying several years back after fuel became too expense..... hence...... took up sailing instead. (smile)
Looking forward to meeting others who enjoy the little Smart Car as much as I do.
My name is natty and I see you're from So. Cal too (I'm originally from O.C). :)
anyways, I've been trying to find more participants from my home state to take my Smart Car owner survey. This is for a marketing strategy plan that I have to do for one of my classes at Fordham University in NY. It'll only take a few minutes and my group and I would really love to hear from you. :)

I just now checked my page since setting it up and saw your note. Tabb, VA, is in Hampton Roads and is home to Ft Eustis, Ft Monroe, Langley AFB, and several Navy installations. I got an early retirement as a DOD civ from Ft Monroe and my husband and father both retired from the Air Force. My grandfather was a Marine hero.
I picked up Speck on Friday and really enjoy it! It's the same colors as yours but it's a Passion. I noticed the GPS in your photos and think I'll look into getting a built in if I can.
I was looking at the BOA model from Yakima which is a fork lock for which you remove the front wheel. It doesnt have the base gutter, so it doesnt stick out beyond the width of the car. The back wheel also locks in. http://www.yakima.com/racks/bike-racks/product/8002065/boa.aspx and it is only $60. My problem now is spacing the fork local and the rear tire to match the tow hooks -- and getting those nifty tow hooks to attach the Yakima to. Did you have extensions custom welded onto standard tow hooks?
I've seen other racks but not as sleek and as good looking. Where did you get this bike rack? It's just what I need to carry my bike, AND it looks great!
Hello from Decatur. Funny thing about your wife being from Sullivan. When I went to p/u my car is STL, there was a couple from Sullivan looking at the smarts. Garcias is no longer in the mall. There is a Garcias across from St. Theresa High School, on N. Water St, here in Decatur, and one by Millikin University, but dont know if it is ever open. I drive by it everyday, but never see anyone in there, and their lights are all on. What part of S. Cal you from? I got a buddy that lives in Mission Viejo.
