Chrome pits more easily and faster than paint without frequent attention. My car is also a 2008 model. But I also have been thinking of updating my car with chrome wheels. Ted.

I really have not had this problem on any of my car's wheels. However I hand waxed them upon arrival and at least monthly (in appropriate weather) since. Also this does not mean that I think all smart wheels are perfectly manufactured. Ted.

I have not had this damage to any of my wheels. However I regularly hand wax them with ICE products. Also my car has 34,000 miles on it. Ted.

About Me
This is the third time a car MADE me buy it. ( the first was a 1982 Corvette, the second was a 2002 T-bird and now I own all 3) I first saw a smart fortwo at the '06 Detroit Auto Show. I enthusiastically told the smart hostess I want one. She blew me off. Then in '07 at the Detroit Auto Show I entusiastically told the smart host that I really want one. He blew me off. Then at the '08 Detroit Auto Show I learned about the smart website and the rest is history.

Hi again Ted, I think what I'll probably do is cruise the Cruise in my Smart on Friday night. Then Saturday just site back, relax and enjoy the event from our spot near 12 Mile.
