It started at -14 outside the house this morning. 13 above inside the garage when I left for work but on my way to work the outside temp got to -20! Ouch. Never had any issues with "putt-putt" in the cold or snow. The temps can only go up from here. See More

Just a little glitch today. It's only 8 degrees outside and fan stopped working. Glad I had been reading maintaince posts so I got to try the fix for this. 1) checked the fuse (#4) and it was fine so on to 2) checking the electrical plug into the fan. Pressed on the electrical plugs and that corrected the issue.
I've now got 35K+ miles on it and things are looking good.

Ok, I may be late to the party in upgrading my speakers. I bought a pair of Polk Audio speakers last year and have been procrastinating in putting them. I'm been intimidated by taking the mirrors and panels off and then getting the speakers placed in correctly.

From the postings on the web you would think that most smart dealers charge and arm and a leg for service. Being in Utah we have only 1 choice for service and that being a MB dealer in Lindon. About 60 miles away but for me they are worth it. Saturday service (yes!) and very smart prices. The 30K is only $254 and some change. My right side skirt had also popped some fasteners and also needed to be reset with some new ones. They did that for only $11, yes $11. I'm sure there are other dealers… Continue

No Orphan for me, no way. I waited, waited and waited a whole lot more but my car has arrived. During this time I got a whole lot of thinking in to see if I really wanted, needed this car. OK, I don't need this car (I almost don't need anything, being a Buddhist) , but my 97 CR-V is 11 years old and getting up there in mileage and only gets about 25 mpg.
