"Definitely my favorite car to have owned ever. I love the handling of this car. The only thing missing is the Power of the Turbo in the Euro version which I would have enjoyed immensely. Definitely begs to come to the states. Abarth is here for…"
Nice looking black and silver Cabrio! It would look like You, Me, Curt and Clicker are the only Gays in the Village these days. :D or the others have gone on to more Trendy Venues. How long have you had yours? It is a show stopper!…"

This is the neatest interactive video website I've seen for the smart fortwo. I was dumbfounded by what they put in the back of the car! They put in a clothes dryer! What do you think? You have to see it to believe it!
What's the largest thing you've put in the back of your smart?
By her own admission Revbacbecca has been a smart owner since 1975.
Isn't there a huge prize for that discovery. Do I win the prize or does she? Does any body know the answer to that one? I'm dying to know! Anyone?
A red pick-up past me traveling in the opposite direction where something was "dislodged" [aka thrown] rom the vehicle striking me in the left [driver side] tridion cell. The object was made of a hard rubber compound. It deflected off of the small non-moveable window before striking the metal part. The stripes, 'swoop' and pin-stripe around the side marker light, were installed by me. Thanks for checking the car out.
I too had trouble with the "B" sivler/black gas cover decal falling off 3 times. Dealer said probably due to weather, both hot and cold conditions. They kept trying different adhersives and it has finally stayed in place some 3 months now. Hope this helps.
I think that once I read that the smart fit someone 6'6 I became convinced it was the right car for us since it was a convertible, got reasonable gas mileage, etc. My only other alternative was a used Toyota MR2 that Jhn would not fit in at all. It has worked out more perfectly than I imagined. The smart engine is a Mitsubishi piece of work that is apparently outstanding and is expected to be a very strong performer. YESSSS!!!! I've had good luck with Japanese engines.
Interesting teaching opportunity! How rewarding!
I'm being pestered to check out the latest kitty Pictures. I will post on my page when I find the one!
I'm afraid I get a ittle bit wrapped up in smart reading on the p.c. too. I try not to neglect my partner. I like the technology.
Yes, significant others can require additional time. More later.
My sister in Arizona bought a Smart and she convinced me it was a great car. Her license plate is Dottykr. She's an Insider member. I also looked around at other cars. I really like Toyota, but I seemed to get more for the price with a Smart -- better mileage, power doors and windows, heated seats, etc.) Toyota didn't have those on a comparatively priced car.
Fortunately, I don't teach at a regular high school. My classroom is inside a maximum security prison for young boys. They don't know what I drive and I hope they never do, however, it is a wonderful place to teach. The kids get so much treatment and help learning appropriate social skills. For some, it is the safest place they have lived in their entire lives. I see so much improvement in them, not just academically, but socially. The sad part is that once they are ready to leave, we, hopefully, will never see them again. A few return, but we aren't allowed to contact them once they are out, and if we, by chance, meet them in a store, we have to report it.
As for adopting Michael, he's a kind of on again, off again kind of thing. We get together when he isn't preoccupied with other ventures. I rarely saw him when he was playing World of Warfare, but someone hacked into his site and stole his characters and stuff. Now, he can't play until he can get a security key, so I've been seeing him a lot lately. He'll have the key in another week or so, so he'll disappear for awhile. It works out. Actually, I can't wait until he gets the key. I need to get some things accomplished.
My Mom was a teacher, sewed her way through college making Navy Nurse Uniforms at the college maids shop. She taught in the local ghetto schools where she was needed and taught phonetic reading. All the teachers wanted her students because they could read.
What made you want a smart? I'm surprised the football jocks haven't lifted your car yet and placed it somewher you can't drive it down from!
Oh boy. Do you really want to hear about my cats. I should really start my own rescue. An irresponsible neighbor let his cats run wild. The survivors made it to my place and found the space under my mobile home a nice maternity ward. It took a lot of effort, but I eventually trapped them, raised the moms and their babies and got them all spayed and neutered. Fortunately, there is a local group that helps pay for all the vet bills. I can't give any one them away. They are too much a part of my family. So now I am the crazy cat lady. I'm sure the Smart car has convinced the neighbors that I'm crazy.
My interests besides cats and Smart cars are my friend, Michael, my job and I'm getting back to a favorite pastime, sewing. I just finished a tee pee for my cats. The cats are crazy about it. I'm going to download a picture tomorrow morning. I think I'm going to have to make a few more.
Hey Thanks for the Reply, Brett. I'm glad you survived and are here to tell about it. You must be busy with other things these days. I had given up long ago, so hearing from you was a nice surprise. Again thanks!
Hey Zippin. Sorry I did not take any good quality pictures of my second accident as this accident occurred in the pouring rain and I did not have my camera on me; just my crappy razor phone. this phone at the time was also filled with junk and deleting these would take an exuberant amount of time. All I can tell you is that my second accident everybody that was there was surprised including the cop, the driver, and my witness.
