Our 25th Wedding Anniversary is our first out of town trip!!!

Posted on August 10, 2009 at 11:30pm 0 Comments

The reason for our first out of town trip is that my child-like bride and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in San Angelo, Texas and we travelled in our Smart.

The trip was uneventful, except that we learned that Serg, our Smart's name, does not like hills very much.

On July 27, 2009, the day the program started, I was the proud owner of a fully loaded 2009 Passion Smart, classic white in color with the black… Continue

How it Started

Posted on June 20, 2008 at 1:30pm 0 Comments

In 2006, I purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am for my son.

My son is tall, and continued to grow. He is 6'7 and has outgrown the Grand Am. He does not drive much, so we let him drive our 2003 Suburban, and I have been driving the Grand Am.

I was considering a VW Jetta or Paasat with a deisel engine, but was just thinking.

However, after filling up the Suburban and my 4X4 diesel crew cab truck recently, I started to consider a more economical… Continue
