With only a couple of weeks to go, now is the time to make your hotel reservations for the Midwest Rally in the Wisconsin Dells. And if you are attending, make sure you RSVP to Jeff at email@example.com. If you need to know more, you can visit the Smart Car of America's Midwest Clubs section for any info you need.
Just make sure to E-mail Jeff and RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org so he knows you're coming for sure and so we can try to get an accurate count for the dinner on Friday night. Just a reminder to bring some cash for the dinner and if you want to buy raffle tickets for the prizes on Saturday. We will be collecting for the dinner when we meet at Pedro's parking lot. See you all there!
I received a call from the dealer rep. asking if I wanted a car, which was discribed to me, and close to what I would have ordered. The catch was that I had to purchase it that day. I said yes we would purchase it. We left for the dealership via the bank (down payment money) and was heading home within approx 4 hours since the phone call. I ask how I got the call but never received a direct answer. The car was new with 100 miles on it, so mabe it was a demo. It's build date was the previous month so they didn't have it long. I had also called my dealer rep. the week before asking if they had any cars available and was told non were, at that time. Maybe we was still fresh in their mind when the car came up for sale. The car only had factory options on it, they didn't put any added junk on it ,as other dealers have. My sales rep. was great. I bought floor mats and the extended warrenty, with no pressure from them. We are very happy with the car. It's fun to drive and we get lots of thumbs ups and questions. Smarts not a perfect car but you got to love the design and milage, it's to bad the people can't get their cars faster, good luck.
