GW, thank you for joining. I hope many other will soon join. I don't know much about fundraiser's but I would be will to support a good cause. I think a drive on the coast in our cabriolet's would be nice. I went on my first So Cal Smarties event to and really liked it. I think I would enjoy doing this more often.
Since you seem to be informed on "credit" matters, possibly you can answer this for me. My wife and i are constantly being sent in the mail "pre-approved" credit cards with limits up to $10,000. I have been told that when I receive these and just shred them, the offers would still appear on my credit report as "available" credit and I can be penalized for this. I only need one credit card and I pay it off each month and have for years. This may be the reason I continue to receive these offers. I know that the one card that I do use and pay off each month keeps raising the limit, I guess feeling that if they get it high enough I will make a purchase where I DO have to make monthly payments on it and then they can charge me outrageous interst on that amount. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
