Smart madness sells a sound and heat barrier called AttenU8 that fits over the engine compartment. It's a 1 minute installation and really does cut down on engine noise and heat transmission. The only down side is that it's a bit pricey.

The drop in K & N air filter made more difference in the performance than did the DTH exhaust. The one from Breathless Performance works equally well.

Double sided molding tape works well with the Sylvania strip "dot me" if you use the 3M adhesion promoter on the surface where you're going to stick it. (Mine's been there for a year now.) BTW, the light slides off its back…
