Winter Tires, Snowboard, and Interior Space

Hello all, I just ordered some winter tires from the tire rack (I know I am a little late, but I didn't think we were going to drive Lewis into the mountains in the Winter, but with my wife's ski-coaching job I have those "widower days" where we can use a second winterworthy car). MDC's new trip computer ...

... is this the coolest thing, or what? Not cheap (!), but after ogling the scangauge for a while and not really seeing any clean/uncompromising install option this may be it ...

I have been reading some grim stats on how the sales of smart fortwo have fallen 80+% and in Jan only 247 or so were sold in the US!!!! There have been at least 2 centers that have closed--in PA and CA. It would not be good if one had to drive to Albuquerque for an oil change!! Just wondering if you have heard anything?

The place we have used in the past is right off I-25 and easy to both get to and back onto the I.

Take exit 149 (Woodman) from South I-25. Turn right onto Woodman heading toward the mountains. Immediately get in the left lane to turn left at the next light turnig onto Corporate Dr. Take the next right turn onto Mark Dabling Blvd and another right turn into the Park n Ride parking lot.
