I've owned a smart car for approximately two years. This last month has been totally disastrous. I've spent a total of $2,000.00 in repairs in the last 3 weeks and my car is still not working. The first time I got it back,it worked for a week and had to be towed to the shop. They kept it several days for repairs and it was picked up on Friday only to break down on Saturday the next day.
Wecalled the Smartcar Towing, to have the car towed to the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Georgetown.…Continue

It did come in handy when we bought our childrens bedroom furniture. But it was such a gas guzzler and we really didn't end up needing all the room as often as we thought.
Four years ago, when we were in Italy, we saw the Smart car for the first time. They were…Continue

Today I installed a new bass box in the back of my smart. All went well sound’s good. I will do a permanent install of the bass speakers into the tailgate at a later date. I will most likely go with bigger bass speakers than dual 6.5" that I put in today. My first upgrade done for $45, not too bad.

Last week, as according to my photography duties as the Senior Editor of the yearbook, I was sent on a mission up to Cedar Rapids to shoot the Cross Country Supermeet. This meant not only the longest trip I had ever taken by myself, but also the longest trip my Smart had taken since being in Iowa. Having never driven myself more than 20 miles from my home, winding up and down the wilds of 218 seemed a daunting task, and even more so to my yearbook advisor.

Do not ever lose your original keys for your 2008 SMART Passion like I did. I tried to just order a key due to the fact that I was the original owner. Mercedes said that I would have to "drive" over to fill out paperwork at their facility to order a key. I explained to them that I run a business and did not have time to "drive" down to their facility 100 miles away. After several attempts, I finally got the right person who said "for…Continue
