I've just learned that the dealer in Devon, PA has closed. They were a classy place; have about 50 cars in inventory. Very sad. Hank

This is the neatest interactive video website I've seen for the smart fortwo. I was dumbfounded by what they put in the back of the car! They put in a clothes dryer! What do you think? You have to see it to believe it!
What's the largest thing you've put in the back of your smart?

We have a 2008 Smart with only 5,000 miles on it. The upholstery is fraying and falling apart. We are retired; love the car and treat it carefully. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello all, I just ordered some winter tires from the tire rack (I know I am a little late, but I didn't think we were going to drive Lewis into the mountains in the Winter, but with my wife's ski-coaching job I have those "widower days" where we can use a second winterworthy car). Although I am not affiliated with the tire rack I thought I'd tell everyone that they have some killer closeout deals on bridgestone blizzaks ... Now for a question. How long a snowboard will I be able to fit inside… Continue

So I'm sitting here watching my little car disappear under more than a foot of snow, with no end in sight. They say there's another foot possible, and for once, they seem to be right. Who else has 1000 things to do today, but can't get out of the driveway? I don't think we're going to that Christmas party tonight. I've posted a couple of photos of Sonic in the snow on my page, taken a few hours apart. I'll try to add more as this continues.

The advertising budget for smartusa must be $0.00 as they only seem to allow everyone else to promote their
products via the smart. Sears has elves driving around. Little Debbie is hawking cupcakes. and now the one that really frosts my butt...GM/Chevy is using a blue smart in a negative way
to push thier 'May the best Car Win' promo. Well, I must agree with… Continue

I just downloaded the Bring-Me-Back iPhone application to help keep track of where and how long you've been parked developed by Smart. How come there's no mention on the insider website? We should spread the word.

Do you have to have a battery disconnect to keep the battery from going dead? Anyone towed the Smart car without the battery disconnect and had dead batteries when they stopped for the day? If you have battery disconnect, how did you do it? Thanks

I guess this will be the last day with my Smart. I am planning to trade it in tomorrow if I can get a good deal. It was fun, but not the most sensible car for Maine. I drove it last winter and was not the greatest, but made it thru. Had to drive it in a snow storm a few days ago and I really did not think I was going to make it home. I had a hard time climbing hills. Then could not even back it up in my driveway thru 3 inches of snow.
On top of that, the cost to maintain is higher then I… Continue

By her own admission Revbacbecca has been a smart owner since 1975.
Isn't there a huge prize for that discovery. Do I win the prize or does she? Does any body know the answer to that one? I'm dying to know! Anyone?

OK this blog is not so much a real blog as it is a warning to you Smart car owners. I went to class one day in mid November with approzimately 1 gallon of gas in the tank. Since the gauge had not yet changed over to the 0.9 gallon mark yet, I knew I had enough gas to get to work and fill up on the way home.
Fast forward through class.
On the way home, I forget that I was supposed to buy gas. So being the lucky guy I am I make it home without incident and pull into the… Continue
