I have a set of Brabus mono block VII rims for sale. They are the 16/17 combo. the front 16's are near new however the 17's developed slight bends in the lip due to the low profile tires. I talked to a wheel guy and they can be repaired for about $175 per wheel. i will not split up the set and i will not ship these wheels anywhere. i live in california about 20 minutes east of los angeles. these rims were $3000 new plus tax. am selling them for $2000.00 …Continue

Just to update everyone (anyone?) who's still out there: I have opted out of all my remaining group memberships, but I am going to keep this account active in the off-chance some big news comes our way.
All in all, the experience of owning the smart was a mixed bag: sometimes a lot of fun, sometimes a surprisingly big bill for such a little car.

My Smart Passion has been making a "farting" noise when it idles. This has been going on for months. The dealer can not figure it out. It seems to be happening when the AC is on. Hoping someone else has had this problem and fixed it. Any ideas out there? The dealer has tightened the suspension, changed the brakes and the rotors. Nothing has helped yet.
