smart attracts attention!

We all now that our smart cars can and do attract attention. We have been asked questions where ever we go. We always get looks from people where ever we drive. But this takes the cake!

Spouse is uncomfortable with the attention

My spouse took my Smart to visit a friend yesterday. It hasn't been hard to decide which car to take anymore with gas continuing to climb. I called to see how it was going.



"Everyone is staring at me", she said.



True, that is one of the things to get used to when driving. I have grown so used to it that when I drive my Edge I notice that people aren't staring and it causes me to pause and remember that I'm not in the Smart.

Turning heads! Driving is fun again!

Today was so cool! I LOVE driving this car! I was driving around Austin and had LOTS of people stop, stare and smile. Lot's of drivers turing their heads too. The coolest ones were the pacers. A silver corvette paced me to look while I was on the highway and so did a tricked out red (with flames) convertible mustang, but the very best was from the Durango driver who actually leaned out his window to look.
