I received delivery of my SMART in February, then hit the road to promote my new novel. 10,000 miles later and our love affair has only grown stronger... (Actually, I knew it would be this way - when living in Europe a few years back I was a SMART owner.) Today, my 10K check-up indicator came on. I've needed to get it in for service anyway - I keep forgetting to fully tighten my gas tank lid and the engine light is now permanently on. One of the the problems being an airheaded (420) author type of guy. www.kev.net

Did you have enough room for your luggage and everything while out promoting your book? I think the back section is big compared to other small model cars. I think the longer you drive it the more you really appreciate it. I love my smart.

What type of components required replacement?

Can you give us a personal comparison between the 450 and 451? We have heard that the handling is very different as well as transmission and engine (depending upon which version).

Thanks,

Stuart
