Max has his CC! Thanks Area 451, SmartieParts, this forum & Swingline

After running around for the approved stanley staples, only to find them not available around here, I finally decided to purchase a package of Swingline 3/8 heavy duty staples at Staples. These work perfectly. The best part is I found them at all the office supply stores in CT I checked. The install went fine. Took a little over an hour. Hooked up the battery and took a little test drive before batting down the hatches and all worked great. Pulled back into the garage and put all back together only to get the 3 bars of death on restart. Couldn't reteach the transmission because it would not move out of Park. Trying to disconnect the battery didn't help. So I pulled off the back panel and unplugged the cables checked for loose pins, etc. and found nothing wrong. Put it all back together and the P displayed on the dash. All is working correctly now. It is a tight fit with both the area 451 module and the trailer wiring module in the same place. I am wondering if one of the connectors was loosened when putting the rear trim panel back in place the first time. Anyway all is well and the cruise is great. Anyone in the Bangor, Me area wanting to install one and wants a little help give me a buzz.

The staples for removing 9 pins from the wire connector that attaches to the ecu. Sorry for the confusion.

What were you stapling and why? Is there a referance or string that this should be connected too... for it seems to make no sense.
