My Smart Passion Cabrio just turned 2000 miles. Absolutely no problems so far. My wife and I both love it.
The more we drive it the more we like it. I have even come to like the transmission - leave it in auto most of the time, but when there is a need to hold a gear, or downshift for a planned acceleration to pass or enter freeway I slip it into manual. Around town and for short trips we prefer driving it to either of our other vehicles - a 2008 Cadillac STS loaded with all bells and whistles, and a 2002 Escalade.

I just passed 2k a few days ago as well (passion coupe). Only problem I have had were squeaky window tracks (service greased them) and a replacement sunshade (pretty typical).

I did fit a (louder) two-tone horn and a thorley catback single exhaust. It is louder, but I definitely feel the extra oomph. I have read somewhere that the K&N intake really doesn't improve performance as it sucks in the hot air around the engine bay?

Bummer about the accident. I plan to get a DTH Dual tip exhaust, and maybe air intake mod. Have a new one reserved, which will probably be a 2010, and I hope to get a turbo if it is available then.
