Another great, but small, meet in Central Texas. We met at the New Kirby Lane Cafe location in NorthWest Austin.

We had 3 smart enthusiasts join us this time and boy were they excited to meet up and talk about the smart car.

Seven smart cars joined us for brunch. Although they sat us at different tables some planning occurred for our next events. A continuation of our FourTue (Fourth Tuesday) meet at Central Market was planned. Braille Rallye driver registration forms were passed out and further plans were made for our Poker Run in January and ideas were tossed around for participation in a December charity fundraising event.

Come out and see us sometime.

Don't forget, it was the big TEXAS UT game this weekend. Even Sam's club was dead. Just the way I like it. No crowds.

Thanks smartKory! It's hard to remain so positive in the face of such small turn outs, especially since we had 24 smart cars at our first event. However, I try to keep in mind that Austin has 100's of events going on all the time and people are busy. I'm praying to the smart gods that TEXAS smart owners will come out for the Braille Rallye in November.
