Has anyone added a Sub-Woofer to their Smart after delivery? How big a difference in sound quality did it make? Anyone have one for sale from an upgrade??

Factory one is not even 6 inches, I believe. the sub boxes selling are for a proper sub @ 8" and have .30-.40 cubic feet of air space to make them reproduce nice tight bass. You will need to power them with an external amp... your imagination and your wallet are your only limiting factors. We have a very small car that fortunately with a small set up will sound very good. so ANYTHING over 2 grand for a total audio overhaul is overkill.

Mine came with the factory sub. I couldn't even tell there was one. They totally suck. It is so under powered and small it isn't worth it. You will get more bass from after market door speakers than this thing. If you want a sub, save your money and get a bigger after market one with an amp.

Ebay.... there are two. one is from a smart items vendor and one from an audio shop. the choice is yours and your wallet.
