Lasty Friday while returning from Ft Worth a pick-up made a sharp right lane change while hitting their brakes and something large flew out of their open tailgate.
Buttercup lost her driver side blinker and a chunkfrom her left door. she also has deep scrapes from front to rear on the drivers side. Parts have been ordered from France.for shipment to DFW. This was the first misshap of the day, Later that day we found a stopped rental pick-up setting in front of us on the road and buttercup found out we could not push a stopped pick-up without getting caught under the rear bumper.... word to the wise ... do not push pick ups or anything for that matter!
The Dallas Smart center let me know that they figured out all 'smarts had names. And let me know "Bumble Bee" had stopped in for service.
I've got a months wait before she can come home ... I wonder if they have visiting hours? I concidered sending her flowers to cheer her up.

Buttercup was not at fault with the truck acident. I tried to miss the stopped truck. But with the traffic at that hour there was no excape route open.
The little car had excellent resoponse.
I was kidding about the flowers, but thank you for your concern and even though I had only been driving her for a few weeks I truly do miss her.

Let me see if I understand you correctly, YOU, not your smart found the stopped truck in the roadway and YOU not your smart attempted to push it. Did the fact that you have NO front bumper ever enter into your mind? You can tow with a smart, but you CANNOT push anything. Sorry for your mishaps nevertheless
