just checking to see if anyone has had a similar experience-----

this morning i tried to lift the hatch to put something in the rear but could not seal the hatch completely.

it happened to me before but corrected itself after riding around for several minutes.

after retracing my steps , i think i might have disrupted the computer by opening the car from the rear instead of the driver's side and the car needed several minutes of driving to "reprogram" itself.

i'm heading back to the dealer sometime this week to see what they think----i'm open for any thoughts.

have a good new year--------t/c---

I had that problem with the latch once in a while too, and other oddities that come & go. My husband, a computer programmer, thinks I should check with the dealer to see if there has been a software upgrade, as he thinks it's a re-booting issue too. Our dealer has been great about fixing things, so I'll ask when I go in for my 10,000 mile oil change.

It is a known defect in the switch. It should be replaced under warranty. There is a discussion on this that you can search here or on SCOA.
