MY EXPERIENCE AT THE SMART CENTER CLEARWATER, FLORIDA

I would like to share my experience with everyone about the Smart center in Clearwater Florida. We recently placed a reservation via smartusa.com for a Passion coupe but after discovering that my DDE would be in 2010 we decided to look at different Smart dealerships. We dealt with a central florida smart dealership at first, but they had no models with the options we were interested in. So we then decided to start calling around Florida looking for an orphan. We called different Smart dealerships and the only one with our options was the Smart center in Clearwater florida. The first time I spoke to Pamela Daniels (Sales Associate), she was very helpful. She understood what we wanted and called us back a few times. Even the Sales Manager Miguel Dartoli was extremely helpful everytime we called. We got the phone call from Pamela Daniels that she had the car we were looking for and we made arrangements to hold the vehicle until we can get there. When we arrived at the dealership in Clearwater, 2 1/2 hours from home we were greeted by Miguel Dartoli (Sales Manager) . He took us to inspect our interested vehicle and let myself and my wife test drive the vehicle together. No other dealerships would let us drive the car together, always had to have the salesmen there. After deciding to buy the car we decided to have a cruise control put onto the Passion coupe and since it was going to be a few hours, Miguel gave us his demo car to go to there local mall. When we returned a few hours later, things were a bit delayed and was always kept updated by Pamela or Miguel. In the meantime she explained everything about the Passion coupe to us. From the location of the tow-hook to the engine compartment she explained it all. She answered all of our questions and we were never rushed. At the end when my vehicle was ready Pamela & Miguel re-inspected the vehicle with us and were very apologetic. I have been married for 21 years and have always purchased new cars. We have experienced both good & lousy dealerships. We were treated with the upmost professionallism and were very family oriented which made us feel very comfortable with purchasing the Passion coupe.No sales tactics were used and they didnt try to sell or force unnecessary upgrades onto us.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Clearwater Smart center.I would definitely come back to buy my next Smartcar. It was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. Thanks

I take my smart there for service only because its the closest dealer ,I bought both my new mercedes there,the funny thing the 1st new car I bought there I was treated extremly well my 09 I bought last october ,I've been treated like a second class buyer, I would NEVER buy another car from this dealership

I got my smart there, and they were very proffesional. As a mather of fact I have puchased my last 2 Mecedes there, an my wife will not let me go anywhere else, they have been so good to us. Alex
