We just installed area451. Made a mistake in the wiring and Smartieparts.com sent a long, detailed, encouraging letter helping us to run it down. Really appreciated their followup and great installation instructions. I am so happy to have cruise control again.

There are numerous threads discussing cruise control. Two different ones are available -
Area451 - dealer www.smartieparts.com
MDC - dealer www.smartmadness.com

Most people have installed either cc themselves. Comments posted have indicated that dealers do not want to install them due to liability/warranty issues. Some dealers are referring to local stereo shops for installation.

I have had the area451 for over 6 months, installed it myself and it is great.
