College Survey - Attention Smart Owners

Hi Everyone!

My name is Natty and I'm a newbie to this site. I've been fascinated with the Smart Car for awhile now and I'm happy to have found an online community with people who share my interest with this car. It'll most likely be my first investment once I find my post-grad job. :)

Anyways, I am currently a senior at Fordham University in New York and it just so happens that for my senior project, my group and I were assigned to do a marketing plan for the Smart Car. We came up with this survey specifically for Smart Car owners so that we may get some insight for our marketing strategy. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and we would really love to hear from you.

Thank you so much!

I got in fine doing a copy & paste. An intetesting note..I just had my car in for 1 year service, and the orphan list has seemed to slow down. According to the salesman I spoke with, the demand went down a bit when gas prices started to fall again (south jersey) they had 20 smart cars in their parking lot that the people who originally reserved them cancelled their order. Also..my 1 year service cost 180.00 which included oil & filter change and they had 4 software updates to load. the service took approximately 75 minutes total. only problem I had in 1 year is that the car wouldn't shift out of neutral at one point so the had to recalibrate the shift mechanism. mileage currently on my car is 7,900

Love the fact that after a year you still don't see many in LA the car capital of the world!

Hi everybody,

The survey link should be working just fine - just copy the entire link and paste. Thank you so much for those who have already participated! It will truly benefit our project. And if you are an owner and haven't yet taken it, feel free take it. We'd love to hear from as many Smart Car owners as we can...

And it's true, the Smart Car does not need to do any advertising in the U.S. with it's current demand exceeding the production capacity. I suppose my professor wanted us to work on a product that's different from all the other cars out in the market. :) It's amazing how well Smart Car USA's promotional efforts are though...I believe their participation in all their grassroot events have contributed to positive word of mouth and an increase in sales. Since Smart Car USA has not done any advertising, it's hard to measure how much of an effect a mass campaign will make as far as brand awareness. Good thing this is only a project. lol

Hi Natty,

The site provided isn't correct apparently. I even cut and pasted and cannot get it to work. If you would be so kind as to send it to me directly, I would be happy to participate.

Thanks, Tami tamij1201@yahoo.com
