Here are the mods I've done so far:

Completely debadged the car, added a Scangauge II, upper stoplight flasher, cargo area LED light, Wolo horn, Homelink, cargo nets, Rola organizer, satellite radio, phone holder/charger, K&N air filter, Genius 15" black wheels, OEM 175/55R15 in front + Goodyear Eagle GT-HR 195/50R15 on rear, Polk db651 in doors, installed the OEM sub & tweeters, MOPAR stubby antenna, many coats of Klasse Sealant Glaze, RainX, window tint, fun lettering.

The Polk speakers combined with the OEM sub and tweeters made a tremendous improvement in the sound system. The wider tires have really helped the ride and handling. Everything else added to the fun factor of the car!

To be done -- paint the headlight reflectors!

Mine is all black so I guess the silver grill surround comes with the silver tridon. Ask your dealer if a black one is available as a replacement.

HAS anyone painted the silver trim in the grill? I think I would like mine black to match the car.
I painted my front brake calipers red. Looks cool.

I had a minor challenge with the mounting holes -- the door's holes were set on a larger diameter circle than the speakers' and I didn't have any sort of spacer ring. I used some plastic pieces out of my junk box -- mounting screw went through the plastic and the plastic clamped the speaker in place. Check the dimensions of the aftermarket speakers -- the OEM speakers and door holes are 6 3/4" center-to-center.

I'm really thinking about possibly replacing the door speakers in the Smart (when i get mine) to the one set of Pioneer 6.5" speakers i had in my Durango. they sounded pretty good. Not to mention that since they're 6.5", they should be able to fit right in without any modification to the door panel itself.

I warmed the area with a hair dryer and popped the letters and emblems off with my fingers and some dental floss. A little bit of Goof-Off took care of the little bit of adhesive residue. There were absolutely no visible marks remaining. This mod made polishing and waxing much easier.
