Yesterday Allison called from the smart center dallas. She was offering to get me into a new 2009 for about the same payments as I'm making now on Blue Belle my 2008 Passion. I have quite the fondness for Blue Belle. Already upgraded her horn, added the fuel door cover overlay, lug nut covers that match her blue, and HID headlights. Plus she has accessories like the Lloyds floor mats, cargo cover and seat covers. She's almost perfect. Would be nice to have the upgraded leather package, upgraded stereo, and not have the tach and clock on the dash. Most of these items can be overlooked or compensated for in some way. But since I took someone for a test drive in a Cabriolet? My heart has longed for the convertible.

How great would it be to put the top back and let the wind blow my hair as the sun would shine on my face? Texas summers get way to hot to enjoy putting the screen back in the Passion and just letting sun shine through the polycarbonate roof. So I really only get to enjoy it at night, during cool weather or on rainy days. Though it's not a good idea to drive down the road and be looking up through the roof.

Sure wish I could afford the Cabriolet. But I figured it couldn't hurt to go to the dealership and see what they could do. The worse thing that could happen is they tell me "no" and we return home with Blue Belle. I have to admit that I "mostly" cleaned her out "just in case."

$400 down & $24 a month more. That's all it cost with the trade-in, lower interest rate, adjusted extended warranty and whatever other magic they worked. They even moved my headlights and horn to my new white cabriolet for me. Now the new baby sits in the garage without a name.

My top 3 names so far are Lily, Magnolia and Cloud. Lily because of lily white. Magnolia because I figure I'll never get a Magnolia tree in the yard, so may as well name my car Magnolia. And Cloud because she's white with a silver {tridion cell} lining. Though leaning towards Aolani which means heavenly cloud. Guess I'll see what the man person thinks.

I had adopted a Passion coupe until my Cabrio came in. I LOVE my Cabrio!!!! My favorite time to have the top down is early morning and evenings when the air gets cool and the sun is low so it's not baking you!!! I also have fair skin, so I must be careful. You will not regret getting the Cabrio. All of your suggested names sound great, but I am particularly fond of Magnolia. Best wishes and ENJOY!
