Is it just me or do other smart owners grin when driving alongside a hummer? ;-)

Well, it looks like it's not just me!

Keep on smiling, grinning, smirking and beaming

I mean after the light turns green, of course....

But it really is fun beating people out at a stoplight while they're all sitting there laughing at your "oversized rollerskate".

I've been paying attention to what you say mrbadexample, and I think you're onto something with that slow driving. You're right. The world is a lot more pleasant place to look at when it's not racing by in a blur. The honking and cursing are a little disconcerting, but I'm getting used to it.

Were you gonna pump up on that jolt juice, or just beat the crap out of him with the cans? lol

My experience has been that large pickup trucks that were driving normally before, have a sudden urge when coming upon my smart to suddenly floorboard it and tear around me like a bat out of hell, maintaining that pace for maybe a mile, or until they approach an even larger truck, at which time they meekly brake and pass with solemn deference. Seems to be some sort of automotive transference of mating behavior. Like a billy goat exercising discretion when deciding whose head to butt. I'm guessing they use a gas additive containing testosterone. Is that what the "T" in "STP" stands for?

Fred: yeah.... and if you really wanted to, you could probably step on the pedal and catch up, and use less gas than if they were idling.

True and funny stuff one and all. And Tori, you are correct, smirk is more much accurate than grin!

I particularly enjoy being around Suburbans. After the triple take, they grin, shake their heads and pull away using more gas than I do in a week.
