Upon logging onto the site, click on the Certified Service Professionals icon. Click See Subscription Plans and you can choose between a 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or 1 year subscription, for a small fee.

uuh.... think saying that it's "a bit" on the high side is "a bit" of an understatement there. Would usually pay what.... MAYBE $50 for a good in-depth repair manual? And guess what..... IT'S PERMANENT! no subscription required. All you have to do is hope that you can remember where the manual is so it'd come in handy when you need it.

A one year subscription for $450 is not a small fee!! even the 7 day or one month rate is not cheap. If I was to pay $450 for a shop manual, it had better be a hard copy with color pictures. I have purchased complete manuals for almost every vehicle I have owned (when they were available) and $450 is a bit on the high side. They should have the shop manual, wiring diagram and body manuals, then publish a supplement every year or so.
