I got rear ended in my Smart on the freeway on Friday. Traffic was slowing down; I took my foot off the gas pedal, looked in the rear view mirror and saw the Toyota Sienna also slowed down behind me. All of a sudden the van behind me accelerated and hit me at 40 - 50 mph; driver behind me must have stepped on the wrong pedal. I am 38 weeks pregnant, and thanks to the safety features in the car, I was okay. I walked out of the car okay, just bruised lip, and minor neck pains. I love this wonderful little car. Taking the car to the dealer's collision center on Monday to get it inspected. I posted a picture of the car's damage, looks very minor.

Glad to hear your ok. I was in an accident with my smart, I t-boned someone who cut out in front me, not my fault, but barley any damage to the car and I wasn't hurt. These cars are good in accidents.

WOW! Glad you're OK. You should probably get checked out in a week or so for any soft tissue damage. What did the Sienna look like after you were hit?
