So today I'm out doing errands. :D
I was at the liquor store getting ready to leave when a Prius parks beside me. I finish loading the rear and they get out to talk to me and look at the smart. Then they tell me how the Prius isn't getting the mileage they expected. Turns out they do a lot of highway driving. Supposedly you get better mileage with slower speeds when the battery is powering the car. I have to admit. I was feeling a bit proud of my lil smart when Prius owners were impressed with her.

I guess I have to be double proud and double smart that I have the most talk about cars in the last couple years, both the Prius and Smart. I have a prius encounter every day when I get into the garage, but I am still taking my prius to work on a short drive of 3 miles on local road. The emission of smart is not better than average comparable vehicles according to the chart on the sticker on the vehicle.

I think I've seen the plural of Prius done as Prii. Though officially Toyota thinks it should be Prius in the same way the plural of sheep and deer are the same as the singular. Or you could just say "They have two Prius cars" or "we have two friends who each have a Prius car."

I like Prii {Pre eye} myself.

2 friends both own Prius (what's the plural of Prius?), and both have a lot of admiration for my smart car. You're right...their mileage stats are reverse of ours. With the cost of a Prius...the smart is looking smarter than ever.
