How to Keep The Spammers Off Your Blog

It's simple: Click on 'My Settings' on the upper right side of your 'My Page' then Click on 'Privacy' then click on the following:

Do you want to approve comments before they appear on your blog?
Yes – Let me approve comments first

Do you want to approve comments before they appear on your comment wall?
Yes – Let me approve comments first

then click the blue 'SAVE' button

This will pop up an alert when they post, then you can delete the spam.

Also, you can change your email notifications to not get latest Activity notices with spam as well.

Until susai administration fixes this problem this is our only hope.

@GetSmrt28277 Good post, I've used that link at the bottom as well. You will get an email from the susai admins. When I did that on cici etc. they said they were "working on it" and I thought they needed our help. The harder it is for the spammers the better it is for us.

Keep up the good work.

you can go also go to the MAIN page and at the very bottom is a link to report issues, including spammers. I reported the ugg's this morning and noticed by tonight all the pages where their spams existed (that I knew of) were gone. I can't say that is why, but don't hesitate to let the website staff know when there are issues.

Forest, If the blog is yours, you can delete it. Make sure you're logged in, then go to your blog. There should be a small gray circle (with a 'X' in it) on the upper right side of each comment. Click it to delete the comment.

If it's someone else's, report the spam comment to the Blogger, then refer them to this Blog so they can see how to delete the spam comments.

Kev, glad this helps. It is a pain to have to approve everything, but until the admins do something to vet new 'members' or at least ask some of us to help moderate susai this is the best we can do. My hope is, if we keep them blocked out the spammers will see their efforts are just a waste of time. So block 'em DANO! lol
