Is there anyone out there that might have an idea as to how long these little car's will last. Has anyone changed their brakes yet ? Or what about tires ? At what mileage was the work done ?

No problem - not to push other sites, but the SCOA site has numerous message threads on mileage, brakes, etc.
For the record, I am swapping my brakes because they have become noisy lately, and with the Dragon event coming up, the last thing I want is worn brakes there. I am putting on a set of EBC Greenstuff pads (low dust) with EBC rotors. Should last longer, run cleaner, and no noise...

Thank you Gary. This is my second blog on this subject and no=one answered the first one. I was beginning to think that no one had more then 40K on their car's. I just turned 27,000 and all is still running great. Again, Thank You

There are folk out there with 80,000+ miles on their smarts, and yep, there are a bunch of people with brake changes. I am waiting on delivery of pads and rotors myself (from SmartMadness), and will get them changed this coming weekend. (Yeah, I am an old motorhead - I tend to do my own maintenance when I can). As to tires, I changed rims and tires early on - still have the originals as backups (the car had about 5k on it when I got the new rubber). I currently have 26k on mine...
