At the old age of 25, I do not yet have a license. There are three main reasons for this.
#1) Milwaukee Public Schools canceled driver's ed the year I would have taken it.
#2) In college, I lived right next to a college campus that is a hub of city bus lines.
#3) I wasn't actually overly fond of driving. I don't *like* driving large vehicles.
I do, however, have a learner's permit, and have been taking more time out to practice driving over the last couple of months, now that I'm just one course shy of my degree and have moved.
Since buying my Smart Car less than a week ago, I have driven to and fro, and the miles are adding up. These cars are fun to drive, and really easy to park.
While it was a somewhat amusing move to buy a car before I got my license, I think it has actually turned out to be a good move.
It is also going to be an excellent way to advertise my business; Not even 24 hours after I bought my car, someone I don't know stopped me on my driveway to ask about it. I also see people looking and pointing whilst I am driving about. Looking forward to "wrapping" my Smartie.
