in order to compete with the other electric drive models already on the road smart really needs the quick charge option!

Cool!  Can't wait to get mine.  These address two of my feedback comments from driving the 2nd generation over the last 2 years.  I wanted faster acceleration (0-30 was already great, but above 30mph I start annoying people on the highway).  I also wanted quick charge capability (although I was told that this is not possible in the U.S. models).

What does this chart mean by "1 hour quick charging option"?  Does this mean there might be an optional add-on capability that will allow us to charge on 440-volt DC quick chargers?  (like the Leaf and the Tesla have)?
