Those fold up cardboard window covers?

Those fold up cardboard window covers...Does everybody know what I'm talking about? It was a horrid 96* here today, and inside my car had to be 120*. The steering wheel was burning hot. I want to get some sort of shield to put up on the inside of the window, but wonder if the usual ones that other cars use would work in our smarts? Does anyone have one that works, or know of a special one just for smarts? It looks like it's going to be a nasty hot summer.

Get one of the fold up ones and don't open all sections. Just did this for mine and it works well. Measure the height before you buy as the windscreen is tall.

judi, I have been thinking about this as well due to the fact that while I work my smart will sit out in the sun all day. A will be buying one of those fabric ones within a couple of days to see how they work. I'll post pictures soon. I will also have window tint added as this will greatly reduce heat inside and will save the interior from fading. If it is possible in your area, I would consider window tint but ask around to find a good shop.
