You are correct in saying it would be more central for all New England
The intent is to try to encourage those Smarties who have have yet to participate from New Hampshire(Maine Vermont)To joy the fun closer to home. And there are quite a few, who might join in if they had the option. Thanx for your comment
Sorry for the late reply. I did notice a little quicker shifting when going from a complete stop when driving in automatic mode. I do like how you can use the paddle shifters to go from auto to standard mode. I did get a free bigger battery with the upgrade even know I didn't have any battery issues. I don't think it's a needed upgrade, but I had them do it when it was getting it's 10,000 mile check-up.
I've been driving Smartie throughout the winter with the tires that came with it. I can't get it to spin out, and i've tried. I've never been a fan of winter, but I do love driving in the snow and ice.
Hi Kathy ! Welcome to the site, what model and color combo do you have. I live just down the road in Winchendon and have had mine since May. I've gone to all the Mass rallies and they are a blast. We have a few NH Smart Cars attend them. Something to look forward to after winter.
