Alan we up in your area today. We took the car back to the dealer for it's 1st service. I know, I've only had the car just under 4 months but we already have 8500 miles on it.. Hay, you said it was a fun car. Will you be in Schaumberg next month ?
Alan thank's for being there. It was great meeting you. To contact me direct, our e-mail address is email@example.com . Now what does it mean ? Portlandhead is a light house in Portland, Maine. It is at Fort Williams that is just south of Portland in the town of Cape Elizabeth . It is a light house that was commisioned by George Washington. Vary beautiful. Maine is another state we try to visit at least once a year.
Alan I thought I had something at church this coming Sat. and thats why I said Monday the 11th.. But that at church is on the 30th so I am going to try to close the deal this coming Sat.. I'll let you know
Alan, I am working with Alan Janka. They will hold the car for me while I get my own financing. I told him that I will get the wheels rolling come Monday and hopefully pick up the car on Monday the 11th.. The orphan is a passion coupe, red with black trim and does have the comfort package. I really didn't want the package but at this point in time, I'll take it.
Hopefully you will be there, I would like to meet you. And by the way, how's the wife doing?
Thanks, for the compliment on my new hand made from scratch seats. 5 Star Upholstery in League City, Tx made them for me. 281-332-8081 ask for Mike the owner. He also added extra padding and they feel just great. It's like getting a new car all over again.
Alan, how is your wife? Hope she's feeling better. Hope it didn't spoil your Easter weekend. So how bad is the car?
But really, hope your wife is o.k.. Have been thinking about you two all day. Kinda on the worried side.
Let's see if this works. I am by no means computer savvy.
It not an "official" done deal yet, he is testing the waters to see if there is enough interest.Even if he doesn't come I am getting his CC so maybe "we" can do our own group install?
I posted the same info on SCOA and here(Chicago Group). Steve is very interested in coming,he just needs enough people commited to buying. He'll most likely do it at the Mid-west meet @ the Dells so you'll have to come to that to get it. I don't have any onfo about pricing, just the offer he made for DFW.
Alan- I am going to sell my extra set of vanalcees so if you are interested I am asking $150.00 for them and we can meet up so there won't be any shipping costs! You can do what I did and have them painted w/o having to leave your car for up to a week and then sell your old set.Let me know either way, I have these posted here,at SCOA,451's.com and on Facebook.
I bought them pre-painted from Denis at smart-parts-direct.com. It was cheaper to have them sent from England than to have them painted here. I now have an extra set to have painted white when we get a white panel set.
Alan again thanks for the invite. Some day I would like to meet you. You seem like a o.k. guy. I like the way you word things. I am working with Knauz and I will wait till the end of March and if I don't hear anything by that time I will try for an orphan.
I too will be getting my smart at Knauz. I have been there once and talked to Alan Janka. Right now I have a 97 Toyota Camry with 162,000 miles and I want to hold onto it till June or July of 09. If you pulled up my profile as I did yours you can see that I am retired so I have to wait. Hopefully the market will go up by then.
Hey Alan--Bring your wife to the smart meet & greet on Sunday! She can check out all the other owners and smarties and get more comfortable with the cars--they are great! And, you can come on up to the Botanic Garden with us, too.
