You must be somewhere near Good Hart??? One of my very dearest friends, Jim Sutherland, Commander, USCG Ret., owns the General Store there. If you're in the area, drop in, say hi, get a wonderful chicken pot pie and think of us! Do keep in touch! Tom and Lynda
my smart is the same color as yours blue and black. How do you put photos on the page. i tried and had a hard time. write to me at the email firstname.lastname@example.org
what options do you have on your smart? How did it drive in the snow also? Thanks Cheryl and Lynn (my husband) loves my car too.
I hear ya on the F-1 roadtrip! I want to take my boys again....their introductory to F-1 was the infamous 6 car race! What a joke!
There was talk of a race back at indy and one at Watkins Glen...But I think Eclestone has his eyes on the far east.
Klaatuu was the most visited car in the show at the TRW Automotive Livonia EAC picnic this past Friday. Of course, lots of safety questions from the engineers. The Detail Man had shined him up really good, and we are still finding fingerprints!
Hi again, Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured that traction wouldn't be a problem as the motor is over the drive wheels. I was more curious as to whether the steering gets a little light on the slippery surface as there is not much weight up front. My dads house is south of Superior on Mortenview north of Eureka. He still lives in the house my grandfather built. One of these days I will drive the bumblebee the 690 miles to see him. Should be fun.
I took a test drive in the snow back in Feb. when I ordered my SMART. It handled pretty well. I was plesently suprised. However, we do have a 4-wheel drive truck as a back up. I can't wait to get mine, I've been in love with it since I firts saw them in Italy several years ago. My estimated delivery is not until April of '09.
Hi, I was curious how this handles in the snow? That is the $64 question everyone here in Connecticut has been asking. As I got my bumblebee in April I missed trying it in the snow. By the way, I grew up on Mortenview in Taylor and my dad still lives there. JFK '76.
